Cardano Price Prediction: ADA Breaks Long-Term Downtrend as Higher Highs Put $0.25 Recovery in Focus

Cardano Price Prediction: ADA Breaks Long-Term Downtrend as Higher Highs Put $0.25 Recovery in Focus

Cardano price is showing signs of a broader recovery after breaking its long-term downtrend, with higher highs putting the key $0.25 resistance level firmly in focus.

Cardano price is trading near $0.20 after extending its recovery from the June lows, with several technical charts now pointing to a meaningful change in market structure. According to data from Brave New Coin, Cardano is trading around $0.20, down approximately 1.10% over the past 24 hours.

ADA Nears Breakout From Its Long-Term Downtrend

Cardano price is now pressing into one of the most important resistance areas on its higher-timeframe chart. CW8900 highlighted that ADA has moved closer to the descending resistance structure that has controlled price throughout the prolonged decline.

The chart shows price recovering towards the $0.22-$0.24 region, where declining resistance and a large volume cluster are positioned. Breaking through this area would represent a meaningful structural change after months of lower highs.

A decisive breakout above $0.22-$0.24 would strengthen the bullish case and shift attention to $0.25, then the wider $0.30 region. Until that happens, the current move remains a recovery inside the larger downtrend.

Higher High Strengthening Cardano’s Structure

The shorter-term structure has already shown a noticeable improvement. Sjuul from AltCryptoGems highlighted that Cardano price has now produced another fresh higher high after clearing the previous resistance around $0.20.

The chart shows a strong recovery from the $0.15-$0.16 support zone, followed by a breakout through descending resistance and a push above the previous local high. This sequence of higher highs is an important change from the bearish structure seen earlier in the year.

As long as ADA avoids losing the recent breakout area, the next technical objective sits around $0.22-$0.224. A continuation above that region would strengthen the argument for a larger move towards $0.25.

Downtrend Breakout Puts $0.25 in Focus

The broader three-day chart also shows Cardano price attempting to break above the descending trendline that has guided the market lower since late 2025.

Rand Group highlighted the breakout while identifying the $0.23-$0.25 region as the next major resistance and support-conversion area. Recovering that zone would mark a much more important reversal because it previously acted as support before the final leg lower.

If buyers establish price above $0.25, the next major technical level sits around $0.32. A failure to hold the breakout, however, would leave ADA vulnerable to another test of $0.18 and $0.16.

Indicators Begin Turning Higher From Oversold Levels

Cardano’s monthly chart provides another bullish signal, with momentum beginning to turn after reaching extremely oversold conditions. Alexander Legolas highlighted the monthly Stochastic RSI, which is beginning to curl higher from near the bottom of its range. The chart compares the current setup with a previous oversold crossover that preceded a major Cardano price rally.

The first major resistance highlighted on the chart sits around $0.276-$0.28. If ADA can eventually reclaim this level, the longer-term setup would improve substantially, with the chart showing a much larger upside reference near $1.32.

Cardano Price Prediction Targeting $0.32

Cardano’s breakout from the yearly descending trendline changes the short-term picture, but the recovery still needs follow-through. ADA is now approaching the $0.22-$0.25 region, an area that previously acted as an important support zone before the larger breakdown.

Turning that region back into support would be a stronger sign that the market is moving beyond a relief rally. Above $0.25, attention would shift towards $0.276 and $0.32, while a rejection could bring $0.18-$0.19 back into play before another attempt higher.

Outlook: Cardano Price Now Needs Follow-Through

Cardano price has already done the difficult part by breaking the descending trendline and printing a fresh higher high. The next phase is about whether buyers can extend that move beyond $0.22 and turn the former breakdown area around $0.23-$0.25 back into support.

If that happens, ADA would move into a much stronger recovery phase, with $0.276 and $0.32 becoming the next areas of interest. A loss of $0.18, however, would suggest the breakout is losing momentum.
