Hyperliquid (HYPE) Price Prediction: ATH Breakout Above $73 Leaves Dogecoin Behind as Analysts Eye $100 Move

The latest surge has pushed HYPE’s market value to roughly $18.6 billion, placing it ahead of Dogecoin by approximately $1.5 billion. Unlike many crypto projects that rely heavily on external incentives, Hyperliquid’s token model is closely tied to actual platform usage. The protocol directs approximately 97% to 99% of trading fees into its Assistance Fund, which automatically purchases and removes HYPE from circulation.

This mechanism has contributed to significant token reductions over time while connecting network activity directly to token demand. With a maximum supply capped at 1 billion HYPE, the ongoing buyback-and-burn process has become a key factor supporting market sentiment.

The network has also surpassed $1 billion in protocol revenue, while billions of dollars worth of HYPE have reportedly been repurchased through the system’s automated token accumulation model.

Analysts Discuss the Possibility of a $100 HYPE Price

The breakout has sparked renewed discussion about where HYPE could move next.

Crypto analyst Ali Martinez highlighted the token’s breakout into price discovery territory after invalidating previous sell signals on the three-day chart. According to his analysis, potential upside levels stand near $97.73 and $163.77 based on the broader market structure that has developed since late 2025.

Martinez noted that HYPE’s recent strength has significantly altered the technical outlook. The latest move contrasts with a more cautious view expressed in late May when short-term price action suggested a potential market top near $57.

Meanwhile, former Premier League footballer and full-time crypto trader Alan Rogers pointed to Hyperliquid’s token economics as a major catalyst behind the rally.

In a post shared after the ATH breakout, Rogers suggested that “$100 is now realistic”, citing the platform’s controlled emissions model and the ongoing buyback mechanism that continuously feeds demand into the market.

While such targets remain speculative, the comments reflect growing optimism among market participants as HYPE continues to establish new highs.

According to TradingView data, HYPE was trading around $73.36 at the time of analysis, posting a daily gain of approximately 1.76%.

Moving averages continue to provide the strongest bullish confirmation. The 10-period EMA sits at $64.41, while the 20-period EMA stands at $58.47. Longer-term trend indicators remain substantially below the current market price, with the 50-period EMA at $50.09, the 100-period EMA at $44.18, and the 200-period EMA at $39.77.

The fact that HYPE continues to trade well above these key moving averages suggests buyers remain firmly in control of the broader trend. Momentum indicators also support the bullish structure. The MACD reading of 6.94 and the momentum indicator value of 18.79 both generate buy signals, reflecting sustained upward pressure.

Key Levels Traders Are Watching

Several oscillators have moved into elevated territory as HYPE continues its ascent. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) currently stands at 77.85, while the Stochastic %K has climbed to 97.31. Although neither indicator has generated a formal sell signal, both readings suggest the market is approaching overbought conditions.

Historically, assets displaying similar momentum often experience periods of consolidation or temporary pullbacks before attempting another leg higher.

From a price-structure perspective, the main support zone sits near the central pivot level around $61.13, with additional support emerging between $55 and $49.

On the upside, traders are closely monitoring resistance levels near $84.08 and $96.07. A sustained move above these areas could reinforce bullish momentum and bring the psychologically important $100 level into focus.
