Solana Price Prediction: Can SOL Reach $100? Falling Wedge Breakout and Rising Demand Point Towards Further Upside

Solana Price Prediction: Can SOL Reach $100? Falling Wedge Breakout and Rising Demand Point Towards Further Upside

Solana price is showing signs of recovery after breaking out of a falling wedge, with ETF inflows and whale positioning supporting a potential move towards the $100 resistance zone.

Solana price is trading near $75.94 after showing signs of strength following a prolonged correction phase. The latest technical structure suggests SOL is attempting to break out from a multi-week falling wedge, while improving ecosystem activity.

Solana Breaks Falling Wedge as Bulls Target $80

The most important development on the SOL chart is the breakout from the descending wedge structure that formed after the rejection from higher levels earlier in the year. The breakout has pushed Solana price back above the $74-$75 zone, which now acts as the first short-term support area. As long as price remains above this region, bulls have room to challenge the next resistance levels.

The immediate hurdle sits at $78-$80, where previous sellers have stepped in. A daily close above $80 would strengthen the breakout and open the door towards $85, followed by the major psychological resistance at $90. Famous crypto analyst Sweep is also watching the $80-$85 region as the first major confirmation area before expecting a broader recovery.

Solana and Increasing Spot ETF Inflows

Beyond technicals, Solana has also seen improving market interest. Trader Symba highlighted that the Solana ETF recorded around $8.8 million in inflows, marking one of the stronger inflow periods in recent months.

This comes as SOL continues to maintain strong ecosystem activity, with traders watching whether renewed institutional demand can translate into stronger price action.

The broader Solana ecosystem remains one of the strongest areas in crypto, supported by high transaction activity and continued developer adoption. However, inflows alone will not confirm a trend reversal. SOL still needs to reclaim key technical levels, especially the $90-$100 resistance zone, before the market can consider the current move a larger breakout.

Technical Outlook: Key Levels Between $70 and $100

From a technical perspective, SOL is currently trading inside a recovery attempt after forming a higher low from the June bottom. The first support level to watch remains $74-$75. Losing this area would weaken the breakout structure and could expose SOL to:

  • $72 support
  • $70 psychological level
  • $66-$68 demand zone
  • $60-$64 major accumulation region

The downside scenario would become more concerning if SOL loses the $60-$64 support area, as that would invalidate the current recovery structure and suggest another move lower.

On the upside, bulls need to reclaim:

  • $78-$80 resistance
  • $85 breakout confirmation
  • $90 major supply
  • $97-$100 psychological resistance

A sustained move above $100 would represent a major structural shift and could put higher targets back into focus.

Short Positions Close as SOL Attempts a Reversal

Another factor supporting the bullish case is changing positioning among large traders. Max Crypto’s chart shows Bitfinex whales aggressively closing SOL short positions, suggesting some bearish exposure has started leaving the market.

This does not guarantee upside, but it reduces some of the selling pressure that has affected SOL during the previous decline. If spot demand continues improving while shorts unwind, SOL could see additional momentum towards higher resistance zones.

Solana Price Prediction Analysis

Solana’s near-term outlook depends heavily on whether buyers can defend the recent breakout above $75 and push through the $80-$85 resistance zone. If SOL clears $80, the next targets are $85, $90, and eventually $97-$100. A successful reclaim of $100 would improve the broader market structure and potentially open the way toward higher levels.

However, failure to hold the breakout could result in a retest of $72-$70, with deeper downside risks toward $66 and the major $60-$64 support region.

Final Thoughts

Solana price is showing early signs of strength after breaking above its falling wedge, but the recovery is still at a critical stage.

The most important levels remain:

  • Support: $75, $72, $70, $66 and $60
  • Resistance: $80, $85, $90, $97-$100

A move above $80-$85 would confirm that buyers are gaining control, while a reclaim of $100 would shift the broader outlook significantly. Until then, SOL price remains in a recovery phase where key technical levels will decide whether this becomes a larger reversal or only another relief rally.
