Spells of Genesis joins black Friday madness

Bitcoin Black Friday is a one day event where over 2,000 bitcoin merchants, businesses and e-commerce platforms come together to offer various promotional offers, discounts and limited products and deals to bitcoin users.

Leading bitcoin platforms such as Purse.io have already announced exclusive offers, including a 10% discount on Amazon with Purse Instant, and up to 30% discount on Purse wishlist.

Billion dollar online retailers and e-commerce platforms, including Dell and Newegg, are also offering exclusive deals to bitcoin customers, for various electronics such as the MSI GS60 Ghost-470 Gaming Laptop and Alienware i7.

Joining many bitcoin startups and retailers, the creators of the highly anticipated arcade game Spells of Genesis (SoG) are offering up to 20% off several items from their collection.

Spells of Genesis is the first blockchain technology-based mobile card trading arcade game developed by EverdreamSoft, which allows its players to collect, trade and compete using decks. Rarer cards provide players with opportunities to build stronger decks, giving them a significant advantage.

So far, the rarest blockchain-based card ever is SATOSHICARD with 200 units. Over 80% of these cards were distributed during a Token Sale, and opportunities to acquire a them are few and far between.

During the successful token sale of the in-game cryptocurrency Bitcrystals (BCY), and a selection of cards, SoG raised over 974 BTC, and has distributed more than 14 million BCY over the past few months.

For Black Friday the team are putting 10 SATOSHICARDs on sale, during one-hour Flash Sales. A limited number of players will also be able to purchase the brand new limited edition card.

The Spells of Genesis team is also offering BCY in promotional packages, through a partnership with digital currency exchange Shapeshift. 1 BCY is currently available on Shapeshift for 0.00006478 BTC.

The Spells of Genesis beta client currently supports around 300 members, and has a unique store system to trade these assets. Trading cards are sold via automated trading card vending machines called swapbots. There are three tiers, partner, premium and public, and each will be offering promotional packages and deals throughout the sales period.

Silver and higher Token sale contributors have access to the Premium store, which offers cards that will never be available in the public store or lower ranking players of the game directly.

Across all three stores, SoG members and players are constantly trading and reselling the SoG cards to obtain rarer and highly demanded blockchain-based cards. The price of these cards depends entirely on the scarcity, and the sellers evaluation.

Over the past few weeks, the value of rare blockchain-based cards has increased. The BTCDRAGON, 800 of which were released on the Public store, are trading from 450 Bitcrystals to 1,300 Bitcrystals. Rare cards traded at the Premium store, such as RIPPLECARD, are traded for 2,000 Bitcrystals and above.

The SoG Black Friday Sale is set to start this Friday at 10AM CET and end at 10:00PM CET. Throughout the event, the SoG team will announce more surprises including promotional sales and the introduction of new blockchain-based cards.
