Lawrence Lundy

Lawrence Lundy (@lawrencelundy) is Head of Research and Partnerships at Outlier Ventures, Europe’s first dedicated blockchain venture builder. Previously he led Frost & Sullivan’s Game Changers research which explored the impact of the most disruptive emerging technologies across vertical markets including healthcare, financial services and energy. He is interested in the intersection of blockchains, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT) and how these technologies are changing political, economic and societal structures. His thesis is that blockchains will be the data management layer securing the IoT enabling it to support a M2M economy, whilst also serving as an open-source platform for the benefits of AI to be shared across society. Lawrence is a digital nomad, currently back in London after working in Saigon. He has also spent time in Shanghai, New York, and Bangkok. He makes regular TV appearances on Bloomberg and CNBC discussing the technology industry. He has also been quoted by the BBC, The Economist, and the Wall Street Journal.
