Pelle Braendgaard

Pelle Braendgaard currently lives in Managua, the capital of Nicaragua. He was born in 1970 in North Carolina, but grew up in Denmark, and speaks English, Danish and Spanish fluently. His main interests are web technology, crypto, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Clojure, startups, economics, libertarianism, travel, food, drink and music. His attention is currently focused on trying to make sense of Ethereum and Smart Contracts, while working with Consensys - primarily on the uPort decentralized identity platform. Pelle is also consulting with financial and other institutions on how Blockchain technology can enhance yet change their business, just like the internet did 20 years ago, and spending a lot of time talking with regular people in the developing world, mostly in Nicaragua. While many exciting changes are happening now in the world, he's a programmer at heart.
