This was a quiet week for news, with many articles still focusing on predictions for next year. Perhaps the most interesting topics is [Cryptsy](https://www.cryptsy.com/), one of the oldest Alt-Coin exchanges.
It has a been a very quiet end to the year in terms of news, even though the price had a sudden $65 drop the day after Christmas. As with previous years, there are infinite articles talking about the year that was, and predictions for 2016.

While debates over the Block Size issues appear to have died down, the problem has not yet been resolved. The most likely outcome will be an announcement that there will be a small block size increase, while a more permanent solution is being put together.
It's unfortunate that with such large volatility in the stock markets, Bitcoin was not stable enough to benefit from a positive PR spin showing it is an alternative to panic investors in the traditional markets.
The news is still coming in over the possible reasons for the big price fall yesterday, which resulted in a $20 drop in bitcoin’s price.
