Report of Investigation Pursuant to Section 21(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934: The DAO
The United States Securities and Exchange Commissionâs (âCommissionâ) Division of Enforcement (âDivisionâ) has investigated whether The DAO, an unincorporated organization; Slock.it UG (âSlock.itâ), a German corporation; Slock.itâs co-founders; and intermediaries may have violated the federal securities laws. The Commission has determined not to pursue an enforcement action in this matter based on the conduct and activities known to the Commission at this time.

Considering the recent evolution of the Bitcoin Investment Trust on the OTC Market, we believe it is in the best interest of our clients and the investing public that desire exposure to bitcoin to have access to an ETF trading at NAV rather than through the premium prices at which GBTC currently trades. We have decided to take an active stance in urging the Commission to consider these comments when evaluating the Bitcoin Investment Trust's approval to move to the NYSE ARCA.
Fintech: A More Competitive And Innovative European Financial Sector
This consultation seeks input from stakeholders to further develop the Commission's policy approach towards technological innovation in financial services. It seeks input in terms of stakeholders' perspectives on new technologies' impact on the European financial services sector, both from the perspective of providers of financial services and consumers, and whether the regulatory and supervisory framework fosters technological innovation in line with its three core principles of technologic neutrality, proportionality and integrity. The feedback will help the Commission to gauge how FinTech can make the EU Single Market for financial services more competitive, inclusive and efficient.
Council conclusions on the fight against the financing of terrorism
In this paper Council RECALLS that the European Council at its meeting of 17 and 18 December 2015 concluded that the Council and the Commission would take rapid further action against terrorist finance in all domains identified by the Council of 20 November.
