On 8 April, the New York Times published a 12,000-word investigation by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist John Carreyrou arguing that British cryptographer Adam Back — the 55-year-old inventor of Hashcash and CEO of Blockstream — is the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto.
