A quick comparison between coins using a staking mechanism shows ADA first in market cap, total daily transaction volume, and git commits on all repos over the past year. ADA is near the front of the pack in totally daily fees and in the middle regarding transactions per day, and daily active addresses.

Technicals for the ADA/USD pair have flipped from bearish to bullish over the past two weeks with the ADA price now above both the 200-day EMA and the daily Cloud.

Over the next few months, Cardano (ADA) will also be competing with Ethereum 2.0 phase 0, Bitcoin’s 1.8% inflation rate, and a myriad of new generation PoS coins.

After years of development, Cardano recently enabled a staking testnet and mainnet. If a mainnet launch with staking is successful, exchange listings and exchange staking pools will continue to follow.

Cardano transactions reached nearly 9,000 on August 4th, at the same time monthly active addresses have increased substantially since the beginning of the year and recently hit a new monthly all-time high of just under 20,000.
